Maple Flooring
Maple Flooring
Maple wood has long been prized for its strength, grain, and aesthetic appeal. You can find maple flooring in a wide range of colors—such as light blondes, deep browns, and rustic grays. Maple wood flooring in solid hardwood, engineered hardwood, and rigid vinyl plank offers you and your family decades of use and gives your home an expressive look that only quality maple flooring can provide.
Solid Hardwood Maple Floors
Invite the warmth of the great outdoors indoors with hardwood maple floors. Your flooring will flow smoothly and gracefully from plank to plank, thanks to the naturally integrated look of boards crafted from the same tree. And given the hardness and toughness of maple, you'll be able to keep your floor beautiful for decades to come. Prefinished to last decades, maple hardwood can be refinished if required.
Choose from Bellawood Select Maple or Virginia Mill Works Rattan Maple solid hardwood flooring, among other flooring options.
Installation
Solid hardwood floors can be installed on your ground level or above. Mix up the planks from multiple boxes before installation to showcase the natural variation and beauty of the hardwood. We recommend laying it over an approved underlayment when appropriate, to enhance your flooring's sound and thermal properties. You should always give special consideration to moisture from the subfloor, and in the case of concrete subfloors, the use of adhesive or moisture barrier combinations is very important. While an experienced DIYer can install solid hardwood floors, we recommend hiring a professional installer using nails or glue to secure the floors.
Care
Post-installation, maintaining your floor will involve a simple regimen of sweeping or vacuuming (no beater bar, please) and deep cleaning and spot-checking as required. With regular maintenance, your new floors will stay beautiful and last for many decades to come.
Engineered Hardwood Maple Floors
A little more competitive in pricing than solid hardwood flooring, scientifically engineered hardwood is also genuine hardwood. Beneath a top layer of wood, other layers are structured into a criss-cross pattern, which improves the stability and toughness of the flooring. This cutting-edge design can stand up to busy living spaces, running kids, and excited pets. Its special maple wood, often used in high-end and custom artisanal furniture, is prized for both its strength and grain.
Select from Mayflower Natural Maple or Bellawood Select Maple engineered hardwood flooring, among other options.
Installation
Engineered hardwood floors can be installed on any level of your home. Open several boxes and mix up the planks before installation to showcase the natural variation and beauty of the hardwood. As with solid hardwood, we recommend laying this flooring over an approved underlayment and perhaps a moisture barrier if your subfloor is concrete. While an experienced DIYer can install engineered hardwood floors, we recommend hiring a professional installer using a quick-click process or nails and glue.
Care
Post-installation, maintaining your engineered hardwood floor will involve a simple regimen of sweeping or vacuuming and deep cleaning and spot-checking as your household activities dictate. With regular maintenance, your new floors will stay beautiful and last for many decades to come.
Rigid Vinyl Plank Maple Floors
Waterproof rigid vinyl plank flooring also offers a rich wood finish with great value. Like engineered hardwood flooring, it's made up of layers. The wood look has genuine imprints of knotting and graining. The layers beneath are comprised of a heavy, tough polymer that form a thick, dense core.
Waterproof Rigid Vinyl Plank Flooring maintains its structure even in the most adverse weather conditions. Furthermore, this flooring stands up to moisture and spills, making it a good choice for any room in your home including basements, kitchens, and bathrooms. As with engineered hardwood, this versatility means waterproof vinyl plank works well across multiple rooms, which could help you tie your interior design together.
Choose from CoreLuxe Buttercream Maple or CoreLuxe XD Cannes Maple waterproof rigid vinyl plank flooring, among other options.
Installation
Rigid vinyl plank floors can be installed on any level of your home. Mix up the planks before installation to showcase the natural variation and beauty of the flooring. We recommend laying it over approved underlayment (even if one is included in your product) and moisture barrier over concrete subfloors for overall improved installation quality. This flooring is very DIY-friendly, but you may want to sit back, relax, and follow our recommendation to hire a professional installer.
Care
Post-installation, maintaining your floor will involve a simple regimen of sweeping or vacuuming (without a beater bar) and occasionally wet mopping for a deeper clean. With regular maintenance, your new floors will stay beautiful and last for many decades to come.
