About Yellow Pine Unfinished Solid Hardwood Flooring
3/4 in. Southern Yellow Pine Unfinished Solid Hardwood Flooring 6.88 in. Wide
The rich yellow to gold-amber hues give these planks a glow that appears to come from within. Our R.L. Colston yellow pine flooring provides warmth and comfort in areas where you and your family retreat. They'll transform living rooms, family rooms, and bedrooms into home vacation spots and places of celebration.
This rustic flooring's stand-out feature is its knot patterns, which are associated with pine wood. The knots, some of which can be up to two inches thick, will enhance the unique character of your flooring.
This flooring is suitable for installation on your ground floor or above. While some experienced DIYers might tackle this installation on their own, professional installation using nails, glue, or a combination of both is recommended for solid hardwood floors. Mix up the planks from multiple boxes before installation to showcase the natural variation and beauty of the hardwood. Over a wood subfloor, we recommend laying it over approved underlayment for improved sound and thermal properties. When laying over concrete, use a premium moisture mitigating adhesive. Not all floor finishes are the same, and each will have its own unique properties. Please follow your floor finish’s recommendations for ongoing maintenance. This could include but is not limited to, regular sweeping or vacuuming (with no beater bar or stiff brush), plus a deeper clean with a neutral cleaner. Refinishing may be required as the years go by.
Remember that lighting makes all the difference! Your flooring, as a result, may look different in your home than it does online. Be sure to order free samples, then try them in your home at different points throughout the day to ensure you like the look!
